Although we don’t have this many logos or photo albums posted to our website and/or Facebook page, so far over 70 groups have held Cardz for Kidz! events. These groups include schools/universities, non-profit organizations, large business to business corporations, small businesses, and many more! Even with all that participation there’s one group who’s always EXTREMELY helpful, Google’s Chicago Office.
We’re thankful for all those groups who continually Stream It. Then, there are other companies who’ve had multiple people lead their events. Next, there are other groups who stepped up and hosted events to raise money for our website. Finally, there are some companies who get multiple offices across the globe to participate. Even with all those different ways of participating, Google’s Chicago office will always be one of the MOST helpful participants.
Yes. It’s true. If you look at our website, you’ll notice that Google isn’t a Diamond participant like Kforce. They’re not even a Platinum participant like four other groups! Then again if you look at ANY of our emails to new groups OR new hospitals you’d see we ALWAYS mention that GOOGLE has helped out and made cards.
As you see in the slide below, we make sure the Google logo stands out and it’s easy for people to notice.
With Google, it’s the best of both worlds. They have continually contributed and made over 100 cards; including the 31 cards they made and sent to us for children impacted by the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. In addition, having them contribute inspires more companies and groups to join in!

Thankfully, Google’s employees’ interest in Cardz for Kidz! has been growing. Therefore, we feel this partnership could grow even more.
Some of the “artists” were also willing to pose for a pic – encouraging others to join us
Just in case that’s not enough, Sally, one of Google’s key employees*, has worked with her kids to make cards in her free time. In addition, she’s always very responsive. This includes the time when we needed cards for Sandy Hook, as well as reaching out to us to let us know what we need to do for their employees to make donations to Cardz for Kidz! via their system.
In summary, we’re thankful this WORLD RENOWN company (who could strictly partner with WORLD RENOWN non-profits) has taken the TIME TO SEARCHfor this small non-profit and proudly support us in many ways!
*Her official title- the Head of PeopleDev, Americas Large Customer Sales and Global Clients & Agency Solutions, — now that’s impressive!!
