Why We're Celebrating

For years, our founder, Ike, volunteered at a pediatric hospital—bringing encouragement to patients he'd never met.

Then, on August 5, 2005, everything changed. After a year of seizures, he became a patient himself and underwent brain surgery.

That moment didn't start our mission, but it deepened it.

It's why we care so much about personal connection. Every card is hand-delivered—so that patients and families feel truly seen.

This year marks 20 years since that pivotal moment. We're celebrating the best way we know how: by lifting spirits, building community, and remembering why this work matters.
